HOW GLOBAL MARKET INTEL WORKS

From world event
to stock research.

  1. Read a real event. Read sourced world reports, Federal Reserve and ECB releases, earthquakes from USGS and natural events from NASA EONET. GDELT adds global world and business headlines; SEC filings are available when the operator configures access. Every report keeps its source and date.
  2. Follow the industry connection. Transparent keyword rules suggest industries to investigate. These are general research hypotheses, not analysis proving that a particular company is affected.
  3. Find companies worldwide. Search Wikidata’s public listing metadata by company, ticker or industry. It has global scope but cannot guarantee every stock or current listing.
  4. Connect the world to your holdings. Use a wallet or watchlist to filter relevant reports. Explore canonical Robinhood stock tokens and open Jumper for external trading. Wallet connection here is used only to track balances and related news.

Sources are scanned on opening and every 60 seconds while the page is visible, with up to 60 seconds of server caching. This is periodically updated public news, not an instant streaming newswire; publishers can take longer to report an event. GDELT provides sampled global headlines in approximately 15-minute batches, cached for 10 minutes. The original publisher may have published earlier; “Detected” is the batch indexing time. Source links remain available for verification. The feed opens on the last 24 hours; choose 72 hours or 7 days for context. Reports older than 7 days expire even during an outage. Newest timestamps appear first. UTC times distinguish publication, event, observation and indexing time. Wikipedia only supplies an event day, so its hour is shown as unavailable; time-window filtering uses the start of that UTC day. A scan time means we checked the sources, not that every report was just published. Saved reports and failed connections stay labeled; sources remain credited in each report’s details. News locations are approximate places mentioned in a report; USGS and EONET coordinates come from their feeds. Red arcs are visual connections, not measured capital or trade flows.

Controls: drag or arrow keys to orbit; + / − to zoom; Space to pause; Home to reset. The event list is the keyboard alternative to map markers.
